Beetle 🪲 mania
The 300th issue of Outdoor Photography now out includes a four page feature length article about Jules’ adventures with his son photographing a couple of our most charismatic, threatened species of beetles: the stag beetle and glow-worm.
In it Jules talks about what makes these insects so special, the conservation challenges they face, the unsung beetle champions they met along the way, and how they got involved as citizen scientists to help save these precious species.
It’s also as much a story about wilding childhood and the joy of sharing nature with our children as the future custodians of this planet.
Jules would like to thank Mark Bentley, Editor at Outdoor Photography, for asking him to write the article & the team for the hard work in putting it all together. Outdoor Photography is the most prestigious, most beautiful photography magazine out there. The production quality is a class apart, and the content always first class. Happy anniversary issue, guys!
